Play our Ötzit! web game and compete to win prizes!

This summer we launched Ötzit!, our Ötzi-themed web game designed to teach and practise German Fraktur script as a means of accessing the large collection of historical newspapers digitized by the Zeit.shift project.

As of September 2022, the Teßmann Provincial Library, our project partner, has launched an Ötzit! prize competition for kids between the ages of 11 and 14 living in South Tyrol! Many weekly prizes are up for grabs for those who play by October 30th, including a tablet, Cineplexx tickets and a tour of terraXcube, Eurac Research’s extreme climate simulation centre. 😲

To join the competition, participants must first register at https://eurac.itch.io/oetzit.

More information on the conditions for participation can be found at: https://eurac.itch.io/oetzit.
